Will I need to bring a life jacket?
Life jackets will be available for each adult. Children 12 and under are required to wear a life jacket while underway. When you schedule your tour, please indicate the number and size of children in your party.
Is it difficult to get in and out of the boat?
It is a large step from the dock to the inside of the boat. Grab handles are available. A step will be provided to make access easier.
Will I get motion sickness?
Most people do not get motion sickness. If you are prone to motion sickness, you may want to take Dramamine or a similar product prior to the tour.
Can I bring my dog or pet?
Dogs and pets are not allowed on the boat.
What if I have food allergies or a medical condition?
If you have any food allergies or a medical condition, please disclose these at the time you book your tour. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs.
What if the weather gets cold and rainy?
The boat is equipped with a drop curtain to enclose the heated cabin. Pack layers of warm to suit your individual needs. The captain may cancel or reschedule trips due to severely inclement weather.
Can I cancel my tour?
Cancellations made prior to 48 hours before the tour will receive a refund of the deposit and will not be billed for the tour. The captain reserves the right to cancel any tour based on weather or river conditions and guests will receive a 100% refund and invitation to reschedule.
Can I go swimming?
Swimming is not included as part of the river tours.
Can I go fishing?
Those with current fishing licenses and tags and who are wanting to fish can schedule a custom tour. The captain will work with you to provide the on-water experience you’re hoping for. The boat is equipped with rod holders and a trolling motor. The captain is not a fishing guide; however, and does not supply any fishing gear.
Regularly scheduled tours do not have the time and slow boat speeds necessary for fishing.
What should I wear and bring?
Dress in layers to accommodate personal desired temperature. You may also want to bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, medications, jacket as the wind can get cold, personal snacks if you have dietary concerns and a camera.
Are there restrooms?
Restrooms on four hour tours will be at the launch point and near the two hour mark.
For emergency bathroom needs, the captain will take you to shore.
Please let the captain know of special needs or as urgency arises so he can make accommodations.
Is smoking or alcohol allowed on the boat?
Smoking, vaping, marijuana and recreational drug use is prohibited on the boat. Alcohol may be allowed in moderation.
